Itinerary
Day 1Terra-Cotta Warriors and Hanyang Mausoleum Private Tour
8:30 Meet your local guide at the hotel lobby (or your preferred time).   On the way to the Terra-cotta Warriors, you will pass Emperor Qin Shi Huang's tomb, an unopened vault 1.5km from the Terra-cotta Warriors, which still guards its secrets.  Emperor Qin Shihuang had an early start on his mausoleum, and construction began when he was only 14 and continued for 36 years.  Over 700,000 conscript and slave laborers built the tomb to hold the numerous treasures within, rivers of mercury, constellations of pearls and gems embedded into the ceilings, plus an assortment of valuables the emperor world required in his afterlife, including live soldiers, concubines, and servants- plus the artisans who worked on the mausoleum lest they reveal its secrets.

Then, drive to the Terra-Cotta Warriors Museum. The museum includes Pit 1, Pit 2, Pit 3, and the exhibition hall of the chariots and horses. In a vault of approximately 12,000m and 5m underground lay some 8,000 terra-cotta infantry soldiers, archers, cavalrymen, and chariots arranged in battle formation, ready to defend their emperor’s immortal soul (about 3 hours).

Afternoon:
13:00-14:00 Your guide will suggest a good local restaurant of your preference, and you will pay on your own.  After lunch, then head to the Hanyang mausoleum (about 1 hour drive).

15:00 Visit the Hanyang Mausoleum, constructed during the Western Han Dynasty (153 BC to 126 BC) in Xi'an, is the burial site of Emperor Jing and his Empress Wang. Renowned for its architectural grandeur, the mausoleum offers insights into ancient burial practices and cultural traditions. Excavations have unearthed a wealth of artifacts, including pottery, jade, and bronze items, providing valuable glimpses into the material culture of the Han Dynasty (about 2 hours).

18:00  You will be transferred back to your hotel after the tour and end a happy day.
